WHAT is a Facility Dog?

• Facility Dogs are the new breed of Service Dog. They are dogs that are task trained to assist those that have, or are currently undergoing trauma
• A Facility Dog has a set of skills and tasks that aid with intervention for their chosen professional practice
• Facility Dogs provide support by tasking which enables individuals to function, do their job, go through the activities of daily living in certain environments and re-count traumatic event details
